About Jody and Sheldon
It started like so many other modern romances, a simple swipe.

Jody and Sheldon met on Hinge (the dating app meant to be deleted). After some messages back and forth, the pair finally met up at Wundergarten on an unseasonably warm February day. Sheldon had just started to grow his mustache and to hedge his bets, he made sure to bring along his dog Stella. Sheldon says Jody saw the mustache and immediately diverted all attention to the dog; Jody says he brought a dog, what did he expect?

DC is an easy drive (if you don't count its infamous traffic). Just be prepared to make arrangements for your vehicle once in the city. Most hotels have pay per night parking garages and depending on the neighborhood, street parking could also be an option. Pro tip: always read the parking signs and pay attention to speed cameras!
The DC metro is one of the best ways to get around the city. With lines reaching all the way out to Dulles Airport, the train is *almost* everywhere you may want to go.
If you don't already have Uber and Lyft downloaded on your phone - do it now! Ride sharing is a part of navigating DC and often quicker and cheaper than taking the metro.

LYFT - https://tinyurl.com/SJLYFT
With three major airports in it's backyard, there is no shortage of flights coming into DC. BWI and IAD are a bit farther away, but all three have train (DCA and IAD are on the metro line and BWI has the MARC) and ride share options to get into the city.
Due to the tourist-centric nature of the city, hotels and vacation rentals are in great supply. While the couple has recommended hotels close to the weekend's activities, they want you to find the right accommodations for you and your party. DC, however, is a large city with many neighborhoods; target your search to be in the NOMA, Northeast, Capitol Hill neighborhoods.
